Nick’s story, Senior Presenter

Born in Flint Michigan, Nick was thrown to the wolves almost immediately. Abandoned by his biological mother as a toddler, raised by his father and paternal grandmother. Both of them passed away by Nick's 20th birthday. Addiction and homelessness would follow as a result of his own bad decisions. Sobriety led Nick to the military where he would be catastrophically wounded in combat. After dozens of surgeries, dying over 9 times and almost three years in the hospital Nick was medically retired from the US Army. Through adaptive sports Nick would find a new calling in life. His own selfish motivation to push his boundaries led him to helping others find their “why” and motivating them to push through hard times. Nick went on to meet an amazing woman, whom he married and has three amazing sons with. Nick aspires to become an author and best seller. Expand his speaking programs to reach more people and establish a nonprofit that serves America’s youth and at risk communities.
